The big dogs down at FRIENDS OF MINE.TV after seeing some of my illustrations asked me to make an animated piece as part of their identity collateral. Below you can click on the thumbnail images to see a larger detail of the various playful characters. This is just a preview of this particular project.

check it. its fresh, it new and full of detail. available soon as always on skate decks and maybe even tee shirts… although this one i might keep very limited run, and limited usage. This piece started as an experiment in creating a very tedious detailed illustration just to see how long it would take. originally there was much more subject matter to this piece but decided it looked much more interesting extremely close up.

“Crazy Balloon Flight” this image shows the pink version of this particular illustration. Just like all my illustrations the process begins with a sketch on paper which is scanned into the computing machine and then refined using a vector software.

This is a close up of an illustration called gloom and doom. It was a overcast day when i was doodling this idea, starting as a quick sketch it seemed like in no time it was a finished piece in no time. I wish all illustration projects came to life just as quickly.
