The big dogs down at FRIENDS OF MINE.TV after seeing some of my illustrations asked me to make an animated piece as part of their identity collateral. Below you can click on the thumbnail images to see a larger detail of the various playful characters. This is just a preview of this particular project.

This illustration is titled “Crazy Balloon Flight”. The image i had in my head when drawing this, was of a crazy world high above the clouds. This image shows the blue version of this particular illustration. Just like all my illustrations the process begins with a sketch on paper which is scanned into the computing machine and then refined using a vector software.

Thinking Blue cause iPhone app functionality

The idea behind the Thinking Blue iPhone app was to create an app that would connect the public with Thinking Blue events and artists and other users around the world. Allowing users to buy tickets to events, buy artists tracks, comment on videos, music, and discussion topics surrounding the Thinking Blue initiative, its artists, events, and part in helping the community.

Under the direction of Creative Director Jeremy Lindenmier from Stileloot.com more than 65pages of functionality diagrams and descriptions were created covering the different sections and user options in detail.

ROLE: Production Artist CLIENT: Free Range 3D AGENCY: Cluster

This project involved creating files ready for animation from still comic book panels for Free Range 3D a ground breaking media production agency. This stage of the production process was just one of many before the Batgirl animated comic book series will be full completed. Both audio voice overs and sound fx will be added to the animations to complete each episodes.

ROLE: Designer CLIENT: ESPN AGENCY: The Band

This project involved creating an animated sequence for a media rich ESPN presentation using Adobe After Effects. Working closely with the The Band an advanced media advertising agency, story boards were developed and closely followed to show the advantages of putting more of ESPN’s content in the hands of an eager fan by way of spreading it across more digital devices including but not limited to cellular phones, GPS, and laptop computers.

ROLE: Designer CLIENT: Scion AGENCY: Friends of Mine

The purpose of this project was to create stunning ambient visuals to be projected over 8 various projection screens totaling 100 + feet of visual projection surface at the Scion dealer event in Las Vegas Nevada. Working closely with the Motion Graphic team at the Design Agency Friends of Mine, our role was to shoot original photography, assist in various production tasks, to create original graphics with the theme of detour, as well to create high resolution design comps that were then handed over to be animated.

ROLE: Art Direction/3D Designer CLIENT: Shawn Mitiska AGENCY: Design Armory

Part 1 of a two part project for Dj Shawn Mitiska. Two separate animated pieces were create for this project. The purpose of this project was to create unique animations or visuals to capture the crowds attention and create name recognition as well as awareness of ShawnMitiska.com while at Shawn Mitiska’s live dj sets across North America.

The purpose of the Nitrogen Jewelry Campaign was in introduce and develop the Nitrogen Jewelry Brand. Three-dimensional models and renders were created to display current and future jewelry pieces for the initial brand film and print advertising. Under direction of Motion Designer/Art Director Antonio Cicarelli from Non Formula Three Dimensional animated sequences were created from storyboards for the Nitrogen brand Film. This brand film was used to introduce the Nitrogen brand at the MAGIC Marketplace convention in Las Vegas where the fashion industry gathers twice a year in the form of thousands of buyers and sellers from around the globe
